BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Board of Trustees for the College of Western Idaho (CWI) announced Tuesday that the school's new mascot will be the Otters.
The Vice Chairperson Mark Dunham made the recommendation following work by CWI's mascot committee. The committee took input from the college's stakeholders and the community.
Creative development of the Otters mascot will come after the college integrates the new mascot into its brand. A spokesperson said it will take the college "some time" to integrate the new mascot.
